Docmaker ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our document processing platform.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, use our services, or contact us for support.

  • Documents you upload or create

  • Payment information (processed securely by third parties)
  • Newsletter email address (when you subscribe, e.g. after free generations)

Analytics & Newsletter

We run our own privacy-friendly analytics (no third-party trackers such as Google Analytics). When you browse, we log the visited page and page title, a random visitor identifier, a visit session identifier (a new visit starts after 30 minutes of inactivity), and technical details: IP address, browser user-agent, referrer, device type, operating system, browser, screen size, language, timezone, and campaign tags (UTM) if present. A lightweight heartbeat keeps visit durations accurate while a tab is open. This helps us understand usage, tell new visitors apart from returning ones, and prevent abuse. Raw IP addresses, user-agents and detailed view rows are automatically deleted after 90 days; only aggregate counts are kept longer.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address (and name, if provided) solely to send product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time — contact us or use the unsubscribe option and we will remove you. AI usage statistics shown to administrators are aggregate cost estimates only and are never shared publicly.
